Meet the staff

I have been a gymnastics coach for 10 years. I started my career at NFG at the age of 3 and continued on to be on our competitive team. I was coached under the previous owner, Mary Purvis, and reached level 9 in my gymnastics career.  I have studied under several head/elite coaches that has helped mold me into the coach I am today. I love the responsibility of helping develop children into successful adults.

I began at North Florida Gymnastics as a young gymnast and later coached preschool, recreational, boys, and tumbling. As Office Manager, I bring both my coaching experience and love for gymnastics into a leadership role. I enjoy contributing to our gym’s success from a broader perspective — supporting families, leading our office staff, and ensuring every student’s journey is met with empathy, care, and a deep understanding of the sport.

North Florida Gymnastics has been a part of my life for over 19 years. I first came to NFG in 2004 when my daughter was four years old, participating in our preschool and recreational programs before joining the competitive team.

In 2012, I joined the office staff and have loved supporting our families ever since. As both a former recreational and team parent, I enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge while helping create a welcoming, positive environment for every gymnast and family.

I have been part of the North Florida Gymnastics family for 8 years, working at the front desk and serving at team manger. Over the years, I've also coached both competitive team and recreational classes, giving me a strong appreciation for the sport and the dedication it takes to succeed. As a parent of four - three of whom are on team - I love supporting our athletes to help create a welcoming, organized, and positive environment where every gymnast can thrive.

I started my gymnastics career at the age of 6 here at North Florida. Shortly after, I joined the team program, working my way up to level 10. These were easily the best years of my life. In lev el 10 I qualified for regionals 4 times, placing in various events. In 2022 I attended Nationals placing on floor and vault. This was the highlight of my gymnastics career. After graduating high school, I started coaching our competitive team program ranging from pre-team to level 9. I am excited to share my expertise with our young athletes & expand my knowledge in gymnastics.

I would also love to give a huge shout out to Coach Renee, who not only taught me so many life lessons, but also taught me so much in my gymnastics and coaching career.

I'm excited to continue my journey with the sport that I love, and see it from a different angle! I started gymnastics at the age of three and fell in love. I then went on to compete for a couple of seasons. Unfortunately, my time was cut short due to an injury, but that didn't keep me away from long! I now coach and I have been loving every minute of it and I am excited to see how far the sport takes me!

Hi, I’m Emma! I began my journey with North Florida Gymnastics nearly 16 years ago as a tumbler and am proud to now be part of the coaching staff. This gym has truly become my home away from home.

I coach Monday through Friday, working with all levels from Parent & Tot through Advanced Gymnastics. With over 11 years of coaching experience, I bring energy, patience, and heart to every class. I believe every child can thrive in the gym with the right balance of fun, structure, and encouragement.

My name is Brooke! I am a mom of 2 and previously a school teacher. I have been coaching gymnastics for over 13 years and my favorite event is beam. Outside of gym I love to line dance and go to theme parks with my kids!

Hi, I'm Briley! I've been involved in gymnastics my whole life and competing for the past 10 years. I was on our competitive team up to level 9 and then recently switched to cross country and track. I absolutely love this sport, environment, and the ability it has to build kids into more than just a gymnast. I'm so excited to continue this journey, now as a coach!

Hey, I'm Kourtney! I have been doing gymnastics since I was 3. I did competitive gymnastics for NFG. I love coaching and helping the kids to push through their fears. I take pride in watching the kids I coach get excited about skills they accomplish. My favorite event is beam. Some side hobbies I have include playing softball, surfing, mauy Thai, and my favorite, baking/cooking!

I have been at North Florida Gymnastics since IO was 12. From the first swing on the rings, I knew this had to be the coolest sport ever. Now at 16, I am extremely motivated to see myself and my students excel in the gym. I use my gymnastics skills to parkour all around Jacksonville. Having 6 siblings, I enjoy coaching kids!

I bring over a decade of gymnastics experience and a strong passion for the sport into my coaching. Having trained at this gym for the past 12 years, I combine my love for gymnastics with two years of coaching experience to inspire and guide young athletes. My goal is to help each athlete grow in their own way while learning that progress comes from hard work, dedication, and confidence.

Hi, I'm Allison! I am originally from Chicago and have lived in Florida for 7 years. I did gymnastics for over 10 years. I love spreading my passion for gymnastics to my kids!
